Called before going to see if anyone was available to cut and color. Was told that someone was. Got there about 15 minutes before they were expecting me. Waited patiently for stylist to finish with client. Then I was approached by stylist who asked me what I would like done. I showed her a picture of my desired hair style. Instead of her being helpful and excited to do my hair and make money, she did her very best to talk me out of the colors I chose under the prose that she didn't have enough time to do what I wanted. Why tell a customer you have time over the phone and then once they drive 20 minutes to see you, suddenly you don't have time? After about 15 wasted minutes if her continuing to suggest the exact opposite of what I wanted I gave up and just asked for a TRIM. she seemed upset that I wasn't going to be paying her over a hundred dollars for a color I didn't want. I asked her to TRIM my hair enough that I could run a brush through it, which would have been about three inches off my hair. She washed my hair and began cutting without showing me how much she was taking off. It wasn't until my hair dried when I got home that I realized SHE HAD CUT SIX INCHES OFF MY HAIR!!!! It took my over six years to grow out my hair, as I have fine hair, and she cut all of it off. I assume either she is unintelligent and doesn't know what three inches is, or she was pissed that I reused to do what she wanted me to do with my hair and color. She charged $26 dollars to effectively ruin my long beautiful hair that I'll have to spend the next six years growing out again. This is why I never went to a salon for six years and cut my ends at home. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SALON or any other salon. My hair is sacred, and you Cosmo bitches that are in love with your shirt boy cuts don't get it. I would give this place no stars if I could. The stylist said shed been working there over 20 years, but apparently doesn't know how to cut hair according to customer desire.... Or color for that matter, because she 'didn't have time' to do the colors I wanted. After the disasterous overly priced hair chop off, I can only assume that she actually just didn't know how to do her job. Or she was spiteful. Either way, incredibly unprofessional, and has rooted my fear of salons safely into the ground. Terrible terrible terrible. $30 to completely ruin my hair.
